Tony Awards Committee
Also known as the Tony Awards Administration Committee, this body consists of 24 members: 10 from the American Theatre Wing, 10 from the Broadway League, and 4 representatives from the Dramatists Guild, Actors' Equity Association, United Scenic Artists, and the Society of Stage Directors and Choreographers. One of the committee's duties is selecting members of the Nominating Committee.
Broadway League
The Broadway League is one of the two pillars supporting the Tony Awards, the highest honor in American theater. It has over 700 members, including theater owners, operators, producers, general managers, and service providers across many North American cities, playing a key role in the commercial theater industry.
American Theatre Wing
The American Theatre Wing is a nonprofit organization dedicated to developing the American theater industry and providing long-term support for American theater talent. As one of the two pillars supporting the Tony Awards, it develops educational programs and coordinates funding to establish a robust and effective educational system, ensuring the long-term stability and development of the American theater industry.
